NOT A WRITEUP, Just showing what I did...

I cant take the time out every 15 mins during a project to take pics for a writeup...
I didnt get measurements of the fender lip before I did it...So Idk how much lift they actually gave...
EDIT # 2 : Be sure to put something under the upper Aarm/Bumpstop...a 2x4 worked perfect...If ya dont, well..have fun...

Had to get 1.5" wheel spacers so the upper A arm wouldnt rub a huge hole in my tire...

Thanks for the comments guys...Umm, Camber...No clue, Havent notice unusual tire wear, so I dont think so...
I just know when I went to do the a month and a half ago me and abe said..OH CRAP...
I Need to make sure the T bars are even before I go get an alignment...

I know the wheel spacers arent the best way to do it....but its alot cheaper then new rims...

does the truck look bowlegged? j/w, me and my roomate were just talking about whether or not my camber would get better or would stay the same if i added my bj spacers and relaxed the torsion bars slightly
and if u just installed them, u wouldn't notice abnormal tire wear for awhile.

SA, No the tires are not bowlegged....But you'll have to get an aligment afterward obviously...It could help..?

 

either way. if its off you wont notice for a wile unless you speed around corners on pavement. then tires will wear down fast lol. you can prolly find a shop that will check it for free.

umm, Yeah, Me with my shirt off and jeans sorta saggin, walkin all around my truck and workin all day...umm, I dont think our neighbors like us too much...

 

bj spacers mess with the stock alignment. Throws the geometry off... as you raise the rig, the tires turn in (at the top) i dont remember all that alignment bs with neg/pos camber... as you crank the bars, the tires fold in.. as you lower the truck they bend out (top goes out) ..like chicken feet

you'll probably notice the tires leaning inward after a bj lift.

and its critical you get the truck where u want it before an alignment for this reason.. because if you get it aligned, get it home and are like... oh snap... my left side is lower or whatever...

go to adjust it.. your camber will change and it will look stupid.

lol ive seen some rigs in town with some messed up camber, amateurs =P

Who's gotta away without wheel spacers? Do you have OEM wheels SCUBA? I thought with stock wheels and BJ spacers, you were fine, no tire- UCA rubbing.
