BJ spacer + bracket lift travel

I’m sure this question has been answered (I tried searching for awhile with many different terms), I’m going to be installing a 4” bracket lift on my 88 pickup, but I’d like to also add some ball joint spacers then relax the torsion bars to try and make the best of IFS and get some more travel.

My question is this:

What’s the biggest spacer I can use to get the most safe travel out of my IFS? I know of some threads using 1.5” spacers with good results but it got me thinking about the applications of 2.5” spacers and such. Like is there a certain size spacer where anything bigger is pointless? I’m sure someone has a thread from 2009 answering this exact question but I had no luck finding it

Don't use the search engine on the forum. Use google. It'll find the Yota tech threads much faster
google search
Scroll about 1/3 of the way down

Yep that’s my method haha, I also add quotations around what I’m searching for with yotatech at the end to get even more accurate results, has worked for me every time up until this search lol
