Big Dilemma? Need Options?

Heres the dilemma I need a third member that has 4.30 gears for the rear of my V6 95runner. Preferabbly already assembled. A guy at Randys Ring and Pinion told me they dont even stock those gears, and the only place online I can find one is jt diffs but for $1200 with open diff. Why cant they just have given me 4.10's this sucks. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

2 wheel ABS, or 4 wheel ABS?

Try checking car-part.com for stock parts

It sounds like you might be better off spending about 500$ for a set of 4.56 or 4.88 thirds and swapping them out. 4.30's are a rare bird and I've never actually seen a set of those gears or a third with them in there. Maybe a pick-n-pull type place could find some?

found this for you http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131114 but it still looks like it'll need some work.

I agree with Junker's that if you're going to be spending money on thirds, you might as well move up to 4.56s or 4.88s. If you hang around this site for much time at all, you will inevitably want to upsize your tires, which means you'll have to regear. So might as well just do it now!

Thanks guys. Im still having a hell of a time im unable to get to the runner at the moment so i cant do the tire spin gear check. I called the dealership and they ran my vin and told me i had 4.30 but my axle code on vin plate says i have 4.56. I personally think the dealership is full of it. Has anyone even heard of or have a manual 95, 3.0 with 4.30? All 90-95 manuals tell me what you have.
