But it is still not without its quirks. We are working on that! Quirks are only okay when they are cute. Rough starts are not cute.

So with this overhaul I am considering getting a new OEM fuel pressure regulator. Is there an easy way to test it or know if it is good/bad?

My fuel pressure sits at around 33 at idle and hops up to 38 under load, vacuum fuel pressure up seems to be working. Is there any other function to it that I need to test?

It's very expensive so I'm inclined to leave it be if possible

I still have a fuel issue to tackle, but I found the root of the problem with my low idle on warm start.

Heat soaked IAT!

I am wondering how many others are experiencing the same. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else. Perhaps this is the missing link for 22re warm start issues.
