Bend's new Truck!

Ahh finally after 8 months of looking, I have a truck. It is an '89 4x4 22re extended cab with 224k miles. Overpaid a little for it (3800) but I was tired of looking and the guy needed the money. On to the pics. A little disclaimer: The running boards are coming off tomorrow .

The Good

The Bad

The Ugly

The truck used to have a headache rack but someone cut it out. I plan to have the four holes left by it cut out and welded. The weld pictured looks like something I did in 9th grade lol.

Plans: Well it needs a new radiator and it is lacking a stereo. And of course a yotatech sticker. All three will happen next time I come home from college. I also plan on rebuilding the engine in early may. I can't wait. Oh and hopefully I can scrounge up some mons for some 31x10.5 Nitto A/t's.
I guess I should introduce myself too. My name is Ben and I'm a freshman majoring in Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas. I call Kansas city home though.

3800 isnt too bad, kinda high but if you were helping out a friend or something it cool. first thing first. take off the running boards now!! and take off the front lower valence, it just gets bent and looks like shat. get a heat gun and a plastic scraper and take off the graphics. give the paint a decent rub down with some fine rubbing compound, then sand and paint all the chrome black, along with the wheels. it will look amazing and might cost you $20.. good luck man..
