Talking First UK gathering a success!!

Oh boy did we have fun today!! Luke, Paveota, and UKmyers(me) got together and ran around on a closed course just to play in the mud and climb some hills. It wasn't any kind of hardcore wheeling but we had a blast! I finally got my Runner muddy probably the first time in it's life. It performed flawlessly and got me up and down some pretty serious stuff! Luke outdid me a few times with his 32"s I was surprised. The only damage of the day was Luke bending up his tow hitch and me spinning the tires in reverse while in 2wd and covering myself in mud!!! LOL Other than that it was all good! We ended up airing down to 20 which was plenty because most of the holes had hard bottoms. We had a blast to say the least. Even thought it was small and we paid we got the most of it for sure! Here's the pics!!

Here's a webshot address for the rest of the pics

Yep I gotta say that was the most fun wheelin i've had in ages glad Johnny could make it too as it was the first time I got to see a 2nd gen with 4 inches of lift and 33's. Man that rig sure looked good!!!

Thanks for inviting me today Joey I had a blast and we MUST do it again soon as I've been bitten by the 4 wheelin bug now big time

Cheers

Luke

Joey, that looks awesome! I am glad that you had fun! Good for you guys! I wish there was a place here and I would certainly pay. But you had fun and that is all that matters! Way to go. Now you have to get out the pressure washer! LOL... :fireman:

Well, the day wasn't completely damage free. After I got home I took the boy bike riding and on my return found the left front tire flat. Got out the pump and tried to air up to get it to the shop. On closer inspection I found two fairly good size pieces of shale rock between my rim and tire. I had to air back down and then pry the rock out and then was able to get enough air in it to drive 6 miles to the shop. Once I got the tire off the rim and inspected both I was happy to find no damage to either. Lucky!! I have to admit that I had fun but dissapointed to learn my fiance is so anti off-road. She was not amused by any of it and actually thought I was trying to scare her on purpose. I guess this means I'll have to go on those long week-end camping trips alone.

Hey Pave that sucks bout your tire. I was setting all my pressures back to where I normally run today and found a piece of shale in mine too. It was pretty small and I just used a screwdriver to pry it out. Too bad your Fiance doesn't like wheeling. It didn't look like she was having much fun at all. Guess some people just aren't into it all.
