Belt tensioner

Where is the tensioner for the last belt you put on on a 95 3zve. The pelt that goes around the pulley connected to crankshaft pulley and around the powersteering I think.

I don't think there is one. I usually just do it by hand and tighten the bolt. One thing I found helps is to use a slightly smaller belt (pelt) than the OEM one. I find if I use the OEM pelt the power steering pump hits the timing cover before I get it tight.

i have a 22re, but my two belts went around the AC and the Fan / Alternator

there was a separate tensioner for the AC belt, but the Alternator served as the tensioner for the second. I just leveraged it down with a piece of wood and tightened the screw up, tensioned the belt just fine.

The PS pump IS the tensioner on the 3VZE. There is a bolt to loosen behind the pulley, and one down lower on the bracket. Then you apply tension just like on the alternator.

I got it I just put it on the other to pulleys started wrapping it around the powersteering pulley and turning the crankshaft. It was as easy as putting on a bicycle chain.
