Bed Price

I have a lead on a used bed for my 1993 4x4. It looks to be in good shape. I was told there is a small spot of bondo on the fender where the exhaust exits. It includes the tailgate. He wants $500. Is that a good price? I just haven't really been able to find one so I can't really compare it to anyhting.

Thanks for you opinions.

Sounds way too expensive to me. I bought my entire '87 truck with under 100k for $650!

Yeah I know. I got my 1993 4x4 for free. The problem is the beds are always bad on the cheap ones in these parts. That's why I haven't been able to find one. I am working on another lead for a mid eighties truck that I think is non-running and it has the bed that belongs on mine on it. The bed has to be from an 89-95 I believe.

If it is a color you can live with, that doesn't sound like too bad of a price. But if you have to get it repainted, that could easily double your spending.

I just bought one today for $250 in very good condition. Just a little tiny rust at the seam but it is managable.
