Bed fitment question

Hey guys, does anyone know if a the beds are the same for a 89-95 extended cab and for a standard cab? Thanks, Chris

If they had long beds in that generation of pickup, then you want a short bed for your extended cab truck.

edit: Extended cab pickups are long wheel-base/ short bed combo.

there are no long-beds in the 89-95 range. all beds in the 89-95 range are the same size (short)

Not true.

There were still 4WD long beds through 92(and 2WD long beds through 93).

A better way to think of it is...there are no 4WD Xtra-cab long beds(or long bed Xtra-cabs) from 84-95. They all have short beds, that are exactly the same size as 4WD(or 2WD) 84-95 regular cab short beds.

huh. learn something new every day. though, availability-wise, i don't think most people will encounter them

actually saw 3 or 4 of them while looking for my truck. Most if not all were 89
