Battery keeps dieing help!
#1
My 94 single cab 22re keeps running out of battery,I'v checked to make sure no lights were on and cant find why it keeps dying,I have two 375 Watt amps,I thought that the remote wasn't turning them off but it does. This problem has also existed since I first got it when it had factory stereo equipment.
After I jump it If I come out the very next day after letting it charge for 20 minuets I can start it with a little whining but it starts. If i leave it for more than a day the starter will turn over then start clicking.Has anybody had this problem or do you know how to fix it?I don't want to have to carry an extra battery or jumper cables every where I go.

That sounds familiar to a problem i had. My solution: a new duralast yellow top battery.
I had trouble starting the truck every other day and it eventually worked its way to every time. At first i thought it was a bad alternator but that checked out okay. Ever since the battery, it starts every time.

It could be an ignition off draw. There is a pretty good writeup here

Most autopart stores will check the alternator for you for free, just pull it and take it in to them. Likely your problem, however you could have a bad connection, a short, dirty terminals, etc.
I always recommend doing the free things first, have the alt. tested, inspect the ground and positive wires for the battery and the output wire from the alt. The last alternator I tried to replace had a very cheap output wire terminal that was rusted away to nearly nothing, saved replacing the alt.
