Bad wiring/fuse??? 87 4Runner
So as i was driving i turned on the blinker then it just shut off all my guages lights and my charge light for the battery came on, well my truck ran for a little bit then died. I figured it was an alternator problem so i had it tested and it was fried so i put a new one in checked my fuses and started my truck but it still isn't charging and none of the guages or lights are working. I don't know what else to check after been through all the fuses and replacing the alternator.

Inspect the integration relay, those that have them (80's models do not). Verify the fuses with a meter, they don't always blow spectacularly so a visual isn't sufficient. Measure the voltage at multiple points, eg battery fuse boxes alternator dome lamp. Try the horn does it sound worse than normal.
Without the integration relay the system isn't smart enough to reserve power, eg the relay doesn't have enough current to close the relay contacts so the lights don't come on. You don't have this safety feature, if your voltage is below spec turning on the accessories just accelerates the batteries death.

My truck has been having the same problem after I rolled it. Although mine is an 86 so I'm not sure what the problem can be. I had a blown charge and engine fuse and replaced those. Now everything works except the hazards and turn signals even tho the fuse isn't blown.
Any ideas?

Like I said you don't have that relay.
And one more time for good measure, Test suspect fuses with a meter not your eye.
Two way street fellas, you need to post results to this stuff if ya want more help.
Or I can start giving the comment my friends give when they see me with my hood open. "Give you 50$ for it final offer."
