Bad miss and horriable exceleration about to burn it !

93 pickup 22re 5spd 4x4
Has a terriable miss at idle and trying to drive it past 1/4 throttle is like im running out of gas hiping and hoping and jerking so sick of it pleassseeee help !

Ive checked timing
Redid valve clearance
Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter, fuel pump, cold start injector, injectors, mass air flow, tps, coolant temp sensor, intake gaskets, head gasket, exhaust gaskets, blah blah blahhh nothing seems to change it so so sooooo sick of it.

Also has a hard time starting some times.

Any ideas ?

Also i redid the clutch a couple mounts ago with clutch kit master cyl an slave cyl and if i hold the clutch to long it seems like it loses pressure and i have to repump it ???? I did the bench bleeding and regular bleeding and everything any ideas on that also ?

Sounds like a fuel filter, just guessing. Are you getting any engine codes? You should be if the problem is related to emission control, which is most of the fuel and ignition system.

Ill check tomorrow. And i just started it and popped the hood and seen the coil wire was glowing alittle bit so i move it and it will glow if it touches anything including my hand no shock but a glow ? Bad wires again ? Ground issue ? Fuel filter was changed like 3 months ago with the injectors.

tell us how it started? did you do some work on it and ever since then it ran bad? was it a gradual onset? do a compression check. check firing order/spark plug wire relationship. check for vacuum leaks, did AFM take a drink of water?

New afm timing compression ect all checks out fine and yes it was a gradual thing and its been worse then Sometimes it will run ok but still with a hesitation and feels like im pulling a trailer with another truck on it even when its running ok..... When my dad owned it, it would run like a scolded dog spun 35" boggers like nothing now it just happen. Only thing he did was put a fuel pump in it and let it sit for a year and a half before i got it .

Well, no matter how your engine reponds to the spark, or even if the timing is all off.. i really don't see how that will cause a glowing coil wire. The two things related directly to the wire are the two items you need to check first... coil and distributor. oh, and of course your wire. Use the FSM and a multimeter to test your coil, visually inspect your rotor and other parts of the distributor top end... I am leaning toward your wire and/or coil being the issue.... unless someone that knows more than I do can explain what parts of the ignition system in the engine can cause a glowing coil wire....
