Bad door dent while on the 2006 Razorback rumble

I spent two days this weekend at Superlift park in Hot Springs, Ar for the Razorback Rumble. I couldn't have been more pleased with my runner. It made it up some trails I could have never thought and all with out any damage from the trails. How ever on my last night my friend comes up to the overlook which is one of the few places we get cell phone reception and long story short his truck throws a good size rock in to my door. Now I'm left with a broke friend and a big a$$ dent in my door.

He's a good friend and he's working right now and willing to give me all the money he makes till it's paied for. But I've thought about making a deal with him if the dent is over 300 (how much he wants for 33x10.5 TSL on stock 2nd gen alloy wheels) he'll give me those and call it even.

How big of a scrath/dent can you fix wiht one of dupli-colors scratch fix kits that comes with almost a body filler type stuff?

I don't have any at this point. I just got back yesterday about 2am and then I left about 10am for Conway. I found how bad the dent was when I cleaned my truck on the way. The entire dent is probably about an 1 1/5 inch around but there are two places the paint in chiped and the metal is pushed in about 4/16 of an inch.

Thats not really that big of a dent. You could probably pull it out with a dent puller that does no harm to the paint. As for the chip in the paint.. you can try touching it up but the color may not be 100% the same.

It's a crappy situation you are in with it being one of your good friends. If it were me I am sure I would have just let it slide... taking a rig out on a trail you should expect some wear and body damage a long the way.

have a paintless dent guy fix it for around 100, if you can pay one on the side they would probly do it for 30, at least thats what i have done in the past.

yeah I hate it was one of my friends to. I'll post a pic later. I probably would let it slide this time but I've already let him off with 500 bucks worth of body work for my old car.

4/16? you mean 1/4 lol. i would try to pull it yourself otherwise let it go. if you wheel it expect to have body damage.

wear it with pride, cause if you wheel you will get more. Not worth losing a friend over. If it bothers you, go over kick his door and call it even

1/4 duh. where good friends. stuff like this happens all the time we always end up working it out so things are just like they where. I can pull most of the dent out there are just two area's where its fairly deeper then and there small so the dent puller i have wouldn't be able to get to it. I'm sure we'll figure something out. I'm going to see a friend of his grandfather that owns a body shop so we can try and get it for as cheap as possible.

just leave the dent alone and get back on the trails. I am sure you will get more as you continue to wheel.

I backed into a tree today, left a softball sized dent in my bumber, and a very slight crease in the tailgate. Then I backed into a stump (extremely tight quarters), and left another slight crease on my tailgate. Before that, my '94 was pristine, and I didnt even flinch. When you wheel, EXPECT damage. I too would let it slide.
