Back in the Game

I sold my 87 4Runner back in 2005 and then went out to do the Jeep thing...that was fun for a little bit till Jeep problems happened. I have been itching to get back into a Toyota again. Last weekend I looked at an 88 Toyota P/U Extra Cab and ended up buying it. Im going to go pick it up this weekend. She isn't much of looker, but this will be a pretty dedicated trail/snow/camping truck. So far my plans for it are 31x10.50 BFG M/T KM2's, upgrade the shocks(probably will Bilstein), looking at either the all-pro offroad bumper or the addicted offroad rear bumper(when they get one for the trucks) and either a rattle can paint job or try my had a compressor and spray gun. Ill get more pics when I pick her up.

Lord, why in hell's name did you convert to jeeps anyway, I see alot of jeep converts to toyotas, but not many toyotas converting to Heeps. There is obviously a very good reason for it, but i wouldn't know

The car I bought after my 4Runner was totalled out and the first thing we found was a Jeep. Should have waited out for a Toyota, but live and learn I guess. It was a beast offroad, but man did a lot of things go wrong with it. Now Im happy to be back into the real world and have a Toy again.

But seriously (like i would ever own a heep) I did try a landrover discovery once, i didnt relize how unreliable aything non toyota was. I sold the rover within a few months and got another yota.

That is not sad at all, something to look forward to. I have a ton of snow here right now and cold as hell so I am just waiting until it warms up to do some mods

I know how you feel. After almost a week of waiting the title has finally cleared for my 89 4runner. The waiting is a pain.

Congrats on the Runner!

Im also waiting for all the snow to melt. There also isnt much wheeling around here right now. Most of the forest is closed do to snow. Come summer she should be ready to rock. Hopefully I will make it out the 4Runner Jamboree in Pismo in Sept.

I sold it because it was my primary vehicle and I had just moved to a different state at 18 going to school. Needed something that got better gas milage and had less milage. I sold it to my bro who was actually on the forums and he built it up. So it went to a good home.
