I'll piggy back on here as I'm doing the same build from Arkansas!
I just got my red sun bleached/clear coat peeling 87' sr5 out of the paint shop with fresh black! She's looking good, and I already rebuilt with new heads/timing chain assembly so now I just need a roll bar and the kc lights(i know my front bumper isn't the smitty bilt). Does anyone have any insight into where I can get the roll bar? I have looked ALL over craigslist/ebay.

I have been looking high and low as well. I am in California and spotted a few in Arizona on craigslist. I just not thrilled about driving out 600 miles one way to inspect them and realize they are too rusted or wont fit. I gave up hope and having a company fabricate them for me. However, I did score with finding the front and rear on craigslist.

A tiny update. Campbell CA hosted a little comic con and Jeffrey Weissman was there. He played George McFly in Part 2/3 and I had the opportunity to hand out with him and so he added a little love to my glove box. "Hey you, get your damn hands off her"
