Tires Tires Tires
O.k so I got the 94-5860P (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/usw-94-5860p) which is a 15x8 rim with a 4.75 offset. As I think about it, I might as well get matching tires. Goodyear Wrangler Radials
The current tires sitting on the rims are 31x10.5x15. I do not think goodyear makes this size for that tire (265/75/15).
http://backtothefuture.wikia.com/wiki/Toyota_Hilux
The tires closest to size I found are 235/75R-15 which are smaller by 2 inches. Would this make any difference?

"Dear Mr. Awesome,
Your question was forwarded to Archival Services at The University of Akron in Akron Ohio. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company donated to us historical documents and photos covering the period 1898 to 1993. We surveyed our holdings and did not find any radial larger than the P235/75-R15 at just under 29 inches. The only Goodyear tires listed at around 31 inches were the 450/21 All Weather Balloons, which were not radials and from far earlier in the century.
Sincerely,
John Ball

So, 235/75R-15. The site I used said 31x10.5r15.
Just thought it was cool that a University would email me regarding my query and thought I should share with you guys.
Got another response
"It probably was a 31x10.50R15LT that was on the lifted Toyota pickup back
in about 1984 when the movie was filmed. If you want the Wrangler Radial
the only size we still make is the P235/75R15. We have the 31x10.50R15 in
almost every current line we produce. Closest in appearance would be
Armortrac (not sure that line has that size) or Silent Armor. Closest in
purpose would be Duratrac.

Well the part that came in from Wolf Steel was a fail. We ordered what we thought was the corner piece and only a side panel came in. WTF!? Fail. So plan A was a done. Plan B was to contact a yard I found outside Sacramento however they were not willing to offer us the corner piece, instead the entire bed would have to be purchased and that was $500. FAIL.
Plan C. Fix it and here is what they done so far.
Looks like a couple more house of taking out the dents and we should be good. Then the bed cam come off. Then prepping for paint.
So. Fail after fail this week, this is where it stands.

O.K they're using a new gloss black so this thing is going to be shiny!
Check out the hood
Bed has been primer'd and still working on that corner
Doors and panels have been put back on
They have tons of sanding to do to get everything smoothed out so we are not there yet. However we getting there.
O.k, I'm heading to Hawaii next week but i'll keep you guys posted when I get back.

I know that Goodyear made that tire (31x10.50r15) as I have 1 in my used tire pile right now. You can have it, if you come get it. it's pretty much a slick right now thou.

You're saying that you have Goodyear Wrangler Radials in that size? I was told they didn't make that size for that particular tire.

WTF?!
The 235's they sell are about 2" shorter. That's the best I can do to match the truck. Unless there is a special place that makes/sells that exact tire.
Email from researching

"This is your chance to get the correct year replica Marty Mcfly truck at a price below of what I put into her.. Truck is listed at half of what I have into her. All of the work is done for you.
Most replicas are not the correct year."
So hard to find an 85. And one that was not a total rust bucket.
Oh well. This is MY project
