^This, or do research on 63" Chevy pickup springs. They should lift the truck about 3-4". Whether it be the Ford or Chevy springs, both are cheap and easily found at most junkyards. However, the install does require welding.

blocks are not as bad as they say .. you can make em work if you need to .. I did on my 300HP trekker

I say it all depends on where your drivin' as to what you need ...
I use a shock to control my axle wrap .. not as harsh as a latter bar or traction bar , and I loose no clearance

.

Yeah. Thats what my friends keep telling me. I don't know enough to make the call....
I think i think may just buy some shocks for now until i decide whether or not i am going to keep this lift. See my build log for that issue. Either way i need to do something soon, its a rough ride and im scared to take anyone out in it cause the back end walks if i hit a bump right.

Umm.... why? What good will that do me? It won't cure the ride quality, i would cure the rear-end wander but for $400 i could get some really nice shocks and achieve the same thing.

A question on shocks. I am looking to get a set of bilstein 5100s but i cant seem to find them in different lengths... i assume as they are rated for 2-6" of travel, you just buy the standard length and let your springs dictate the travel?

EDIT: That doesn't look right. Do i need this one 24-186636 or this one 24-186636?

Doggone it, i just realized that with blocks my shock length should be stock right? And bilstien does not appear to have 5100s for 0" lift vehicles. What do i look at now...

the traction bars would cure the axle wrap. I am sure there are cheaper options out there.

Well the cheapest option i have found and am in the process of pursuing is to find some shock mount plates and flip my u-bolts back to the bottom for max shock effectiveness.
I would have liked to keep the u-bolts flipped up but i dont have the skills or equipment to make axle mount points.
