Axle Binding??
So while ripping out some tree stumps with my truck i notice that in 4wheel drive when i turn either way it seems to stop the truck dead. It will move if i force it, but does not do it once i put it back in 2whl drive... Axles seem fine no noise and they got grease.. Any ideas??? Thanks guys

are you on hard ground, or loose ground?
if you're on hard ground (ie concrete, or even compacted dirt/clay), the drive train WILL BIND UP IF YOU'RE IN 4WD AND TRY TO TURN!
There's no differential action between the front and rear drive train through the transfer case, and when you make a turn, the wheels at the front of the truck cover more ground than the wheels at the rear. This difference in travel distance cause the drive-line to bund up, and can make the truck feel like it just doesn't want to move, and can lead to parts breaking if you're not careful. On softer ground like sand or muddy conditions, the wheels will slip a little and relieve the tension in the drive-line, and you'll never notice it.

well when crawling, you always manage to gett a wheel or two off the ground anyway, but usually on uneven ground like rocks, as the trucks tilts to one side or the other, the wheel with the less weight on it will slip and relieve the stress
that's explains it right there; on a paved drive way; that's why
reverse or forward, it wont make a difference; it'll still bind up if it's in 4low or 4hi
