anything i can do to fix the housing or do i have to find a different housing it self it is an 89 4x4 housing

 

'89 rear axle housing? it looks like it's bashed in at the spring mount? i would get another one, there are plenty of them around.

 

By the time you did all the work to fix this one If you have the needed skills .

Much faster and most likely cheaper just to get a used housing as there are plenty around.

Now if it was something really rare it would be a different story.

 

Thanks guys and I keep an eye out for one ik like the 83 is rare rear axle but the 89 isn't so much. What pride range should be for me to get one on a tight buget (housing or fully dressed axle)?

 

I have bought complete parts trucks that people gave up on for $300.00 In fact I sold my running 83 4x4 for that.
