I did not even bother to read any of the previous responses so on that note.....

There are plenty of other swaps with basic support of parts/knowledge. Just because you have a free motor does not even factor into this decision as far as I am concerned.
There has only been one place where I know I can get Audi parts. That is from Audi dealerships. Lol.
Forget about saving gas. You will surely make up for any potential savings by overpaying for basic replacement parts.
It's just a bad idea (unless you have an engineering and electronics degree from MIT.
