hey guys i have a 91 toyota with a arb winch bumper no winch yet. i was wondering how i would access the clutch to freespool the winch line out once i install the winch. it seems that there would be no way to turn it by reaching thru the little rectangle hole on top after winch is in place. is there actually enough room anybody have one its gonna be either a warn 8000 or 9000. thanks.

 

when i had my last truck and i went wheeling ive gotten stuck where if i had a winch on the front it would of been useless to me ..... got any pics of where the winch goes ?

 

Well I don't have an ARB, but on my TJM I can reach it from under the bumper or through the hole on top. To me, it is easier from under the bumper.

 

It is underneath.
I ran the ARB and Warn XD9000 for years on my '91 4Runner.

Very easy to get to.
