Anyone who has ARB snorkel install...
...Do me a favor? Please post a clear shot(s) of your engine bay where the snorkel hooks up to the air box. I just bought an ARB Safari snorkel (only the body) and need to hook it up in the engine compartment to make it functional.
My truck is a '91 4x4 pickup w/ 22RE. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

I'll get you some pictures later today. I basically cut the airbox mounts off the bottom of the stock airbox, cut a hole in the back of it and ran the snorkel duct into the back of it. I made a box out of cardboard around it and filled it up to the base of the airbox with orange expandafoam (hard drying type). That holds the box in place and also seals the inlet.

Sorry for the wait.
It's ugly but very secure, waterproof, and allows me to keep my stock airbox filter. The foam is about a year old and still like the day I put it in. Even after cleaning it about half a dozen times with purple power.

Wow now thats ugly, lol but i guess if it works =)
What did you use on the distributor to get it sealed? I've tried bigger Orings, rtv, nothing seems to work. I even have the cap breather hosed like yours =p

Did you block the 2 holes in the base of the distributor? They are facing the engine, one on the top and one on the bottom. Also sometimes just having the breather vented elsewhere isn't enough. It gets so hot and humid in the engine bay it's still possible for condensation to form in the distributor. Especially if there's no moving air in it. I haven't had any issues since doing my mod half a year ago. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ng+distributor
