Anyone try this muffler

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/40-Se...item58846fe6bf

I thought it said Flowmaster for 5 mins until I read it again. Can't go wrong with the price and the internals look similar. Has anyone ran one of these?

Their ebay page has misspelled words on it.

i'd get it anyway, however they are not identical, the photo of the knockoff is upside down which makes one of the baffles mounted on the upper wall of the muffler not the bottom like the flowmaster, other than that they are identical. Which they cannot be anyway, I am sure flowmaster has a patent on their design in which in order to knock them off, they have to change something. looks like thats what it was. shouldnt make much of a difference though.

If you read the whole ad it says the Flowmaster patent has run out and that is why they are able to copy it.

I say go for it, I have a Flowmaster 40 on my runner and it sounds pretty good. Its a bit loud though.
