Looks cool, but also looks like it lacks some important things, like weatherstripping. I've looked at this site off and on for a couple years and I've never seen where he gives prices for his 'kit'. Might be prohibitively high (likely more than I paid for my 4Runner, but hey) but it might not, who knows. Anyway, anyone done anything simmilar? I like the idea of getting a 4-door beast with a reliable Toyota powertrain. of course, If I had, say, a huge budget and a lot of time, I think I'd take it to the next level and get two long-throw BAJA style IFS kits, one for the front and, yes, you guessed it, one for the rear, so you could drive over stumps and big rocks and not even notice with it, just like an AM General HMMWV.

There are pics going around the internet of H2's after being involved in accidents, which don't look like they have faired too well. I can't even imagine what those mini-hummers would look like.

I bought my Runner because I think its one of the better looking 4x4s ever made, behind the classic FJ40 of course. If I wanted a Hummer, I'd join the Army...

There was a thread about this a LONG time ago. I think GM put a stop to him being able to make these kits, kinda like the "Bummer" kits. Not to sure, but a search would pull up the old thread on this.

Those two are basically the same thing. Thought there was a bigger thread in the archives, I just might not be looking correctly.

Personally, the closest I would take any toyota and make it into a Hummer would be either like 4Hummer has his 4Runner, or taking a LC and adding a bed to the rear. Both look really cool.
