Another what's it worth question.

I was able to pick up a 92 Extended Cab 4x4 earlier today for what I feel was an outstanding price. It's a 5-speed, V6, AC, Cruise, Aisin hubs, gauge package. It's red with very good paint/body (8 out of 10) and only a few minor rust spots. Newer tires and new exhaust. Gear code 284 (4.33 4 spline). Rear bumper is rusted badly and needs to be replaced. The guy was the original owner. It's got only 83,xxx original miles on it. I bought it with the intent to take the cruise and A/C out for my truck. Say if I were just to sell it as is, what would you think it's worth? NADA says $4900 + $300 for milage. $5200 sound reasonable?

Thanks.

Bryan

Doesn't matter if the head gasket was done - if it wasn't they will do it.
But that word rust bothers me.

The rust is just a few penny sized surface spots. Nothing tough to fix if they new owner would desire.

I paid $3700 for the truck. Hoping to pull the A/C and cruise out for my truck and sell it for $5000 to a local buyer. I feel I did get a VERY good deal on it.

Bet you could part it out for more...I'll start with expressing interest in the hubs! I'll even trade the ADD plates off mine so it would still run!

LOL I didnt buy it to part it. Bought it to resell locally. I don't have time to part it out, and my wife wouldn't appreciate the mess in the garage
