Another A/T to M/T swap thread.

Another A/T to M/T swap thread.
I'm right in the middle of swapping from auto to manual transmission. I have a donor vehicle. the rig I'm swapping into is a 95 4wd. The donor is a 91 with the R150F. Iv'e looked at the threads I can find on the electrical aspects. Following are the questions I have.
1) I have the ECU for the manual trans. Is there an advantage to swapping this as well?
2) are the wiring connectors the same from A/T to M/T ECUs?
3) If i use the old A/T ECU what do i do with the connectors that used to connect to the A/T?
4) Do I need to change out the wiring loom to use the M/t ECU?
There was some good info on the forum, but all of the links I found are dead ends. Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe take a look at the 3.4 swap section in the stickies at the top of the page. I think you will need wiring diagrams for both trucks to figure this out. I always "heard" the manual ECM is better but I think there are ways around that . To trick the auto ECM. Sorry I don't have any specific info. There's some pretty sharp members on the mini truck section of IH8MUD forum too. Good luck with your swap.
