drill out shock bushing?

I'm replacing rear pro comp 32550 shocks which are about 26" extended and 15.5" collapsed. I was having a tough time finding shocks that that measured similarly and had the correct mounts until I discovered that T-100 shocks at oem measurements pretty much fit the bill. When I got them though, the inside diameter of the bushing is like one size too small - 5/8" rather than 3/4" or something along those lines. Is there any reason I couldn't/shouldn't drill out the bushing to make it work?

So yes it will work.
