AmP Gauge Help

how would i go about installing an amp gauge on my 4Runner...i got the temp and oil pressure in but im not sure as to how i should go abt installing an amp guage. so any help/suggestions would be great... thanx :-D

If I remember correctly, the instructions to mine say to put it on the main power wire going to the fuse box. Attach one pole of the gauge to the battery and the other to the fuse box. It will be in-line with the main wire, meaning all of the current will travel through it, so be sure to use wires the same size or larger than the fuse box wire. It might also be a good idea to put a high amperage fuse close to the battery on the wire going to the gauge in case the wire shorts somewhere.
