9/10, it's a bad ground or improperly grounded...

that 1/10 is a POS equipment to begin with... lol....

I have a ground running straight to the battery for it. It's a good radio, Cobra 25 classic:


The CB shop (one of the best in the nation here in OKC) said it could be the alternator, so I was waiting until I got my 5VZ alternator in to see if that helps. I'll let you know. I just upgraded my alt ground too:
