alternative to a bob?

alright,
i know i have seen someone somewhere do something like this..
anyone have a link?
here are some pics to what i am talking about(Photoshop)
what one looks better? stretched fender or just move fender back?
sorry if this is someones truck, got them of the internet awhile ago...

Move the wheel well/fender back. Having a big gap in front of the tire would look like crap IMO...

i think it would look ok if you moved the whole opening back and left it the factory size. it kinda looks like a bobbed longbed with a sixfooter but with the wells in the very back

Def move the fender back.

I know a friend who had a sweet blue 85 in SLC with a set up like this.

It looked really good and performed awesome.

If you have the patience for that sort of sheet metal work it would be well worth your time.

That pirate link is a great idea. That way you dont sacrifice bed space. Too bad you cant do something like that around here. (theres a serious lack of rust free donors to replace body sheeting with, not to mention $$$, just recently a 85 pickup bed sold for some serious money!)

perfect thanks.. im hoping its not to difficult. i plan on putting a fullsize spare inside and a bob job just isnt gonna cut it..
