almost freshly purchased 86 yota

just about to get into an 86 toyota pickup with a flat bed..it is 5 speed standard cab...now am i correct that this is the first year of IFS? I have previously owned a 1986 4runner...But i was wondering if there happened to be any free mod/cheap tricks that this model truck responded to well as a whole?

I have read your WTF post. Maybe be a little clearer in your request. Have you tried using the search buttom? This forum has a ton of information and it is very easy to find answers to your questions. Most of the guys and gals will be more than happy to help you if they know what you are looking for.

How many threads have you started now? 3? 4?

As for "free" mods or cheap tricks for early IFS rigs, check out:

Yes: 86 is the first year of the IFS.
Give it a little time and you will get responses to your thread. There are so many cheap and easy mods for truck but to be honest your question was very broad based. Give YT another chance, you posted on Mom's day so many people were probably doing Mom's day stuff.

Consider narrowing down the 'free easy mod's' to the objective you are trying to accomplish: Interior, exterior, suspension, tires etc.

I recently did an integrated turnsignal/running light on one of my trucks (cost about $5) because I did not have a front bumper.

this is a great place to get information. the search function works pretty good.

TC's link is a great place to start....

Dude- spend about 5 or 6 hours reading through the threads on this site. You will get an insane amount of ideas, but you gotta put some time in scrolling through posts.

When you figure out a few mods that interest you, ask some specific questions and don't be ambiguous with the title of the thread. Yotatech can be your friend, but it will take a little effort on your part.

X2, that's really the key to getting help. There is such a high volume of posts on this site you must have a good title to get attention. Don't take the lack of attention personal, there is just alot to read through.
