aisin hub turns to lock cv's dont engage

Alright so I gotta 94 p/u aisin hubs. They never been romoved my dad bought it brand new so i know they havenn't been touched. The passenger side will lock and unlock by hand but not easily but will not engage. Wanna take them apart tomorrow (in the snow if I have to) lol. I read around the forums about how to do it but what should I look for as far as damage goes?

The outside of the hub body is good. The clutch and pawl hand I think its called has some surface rust tho wire brush not doing much. Maybe after a parts washer dip it will

Your prolly gonna need new orings and gaskets when you put them back together. I got mine at a local Toyota dealer for like $20.

Dial cover 43531-60010
Hub body 43422-60010
Oring under dial 43532-60010

Soak them in mineral spirits or some degreaser overnight and then clean with a tootbrush. Wipe clean. Clean up rusty spots with a Dremel tool with a wire brush.

Light grease to reassemble. I got a thread how to do that on here.

I would grease the spindle bushing while I had it tore down. There is plenty of info on that here as well. X2 on supporting a vendor, check out Wabs site, link in his sig.
