Air Conditioning

I just got this toyota truck, 1991 pick SR5 V6 3vze engine, and the issue is with the air conditioning.
When the truck is moving the air is cold, when the truck is at a stop light or not moving, the air isn't cold.
Ideas in where ti start looking?
thanks

Read the manual: http://web.archive.org/web/201204270...ditioning.html

Make sure the condenser (in front of the radiator) isn't COMPLETELY plastered with bugs.

Get a set of gauges: https://www.harborfreight.com/ac-r13...set-60806.html (this set will work with R12 (original for 1991) or R134a (upgraded)). I'm going to guess you are low on refrigerant, but that's what gauges are for. You'll need to learn how to use them; not that hard.

Read this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-r134a-284801/ (The guy's a genius!!! Well, maybe only conceited ...)
