Air Box and pollution equip

Air Box and pollution equip
I am looking into possibly removing my pollution equipment and have a few questions. Can I remove this stuff and if I do will I need to block anything off? Do I need a smog pump eliminator? And also I noticed that my 4runner has more than 1 airbox or something like that. What is this? Can I remove it?
My rig is a 1990 4Runner 3.0 V6. If there are any threads on this I must have missed them. Any Help?????

You can block off the EGR : https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...my-egr-108005/
and that 2nt air box is a silencer box... can be removed by installing a direct pipe from the MAF to the TB. there are a few threads about it on here.
I would not personally block the egr... because its there for a reason, but do whatever you want.
