AFM Question
I have a question about air flow meters, ive read on here that a few people are using a AFM from a celica on there trucks and 4Runners, so my question is this, are the 22RE engines that came in 84-88 celicas tuned for more power than the 22RE`s that came in 84-88 trucks and 4Runners ?, are the AFM`s from a celica set a little richer to deliver more fuel ?, and if i swapped one into my 86 4Runner would i notice a difference ?. if this is worth doing, what year celicas would work on my truck, 84-88 ?.

It has a larger area on the flapper. The theory is that you're less limited for air at that point.
Note, tuning richer without adding more air isn't likely to give you more power..

I think the '82 Supra AFM is plug in and play for our 22REs. That's said, you need to re-plumb the intake with larger diameter tubing.

I'm running the 60mm TB currently, it required modifications to the throttle cable and you loose the fast idle. I'll probably be replacing it soon.
