Advice on crankshaft replacement

I spun a bearing and scratched the hell out of my crankshaft. I'm going to replace all bearings and shaft.

Question. Do the rods need to be replaced as well ? The rod cap with the bad bearing went black.

Do I have to take out the engine to put in a new crankshaft?

Its a 3.0 6 cyl mt
Thanks.

You would have to at least separate the engine and trans so my vote would be to pull the motor and at least re-ring and new head gaskets

I think I have to replace the rod. It was pitch black the cap was pretty stuck on so I think it deformed a bit. I JUST rebuilt the head ! I guess I should have looked under first. Lesson learned. I may re-ring too if I can find a cheap set.
