Actually the height I got was too much rake I ended up buying bj spacers to level it out, and even now it still has a rake to it. I am happy with how it sits. AAL would have been cheaper to go with, but I am happy with how it rides now. I read some folks had rough rides with AAL, but I am sure it's brand specific. Sounds like everyone has had decent luck with theirs.

Heh. That's why I went bj spacer instead of cranking the torsions. I actually took an inch of lift and relaxed the torsion bars a half inch. Now the smooth ride of the zuks are matched up front. My ride was rough enough without cranking em I didn't want to chance it.

As it was the wife wouldn't ride in the 4runner it actually made her back hurt. Now she rides in it no problem.

in a 4runner i understand wanting a smoother ride, but in a truck i think AALs are a no brainer, the front on my truck sits 14.75 and i didnt touch anything, and they truck was on stock tires when i bought it so im pretty sure the PO didnt touch the tbars either... the
truck also drove real nice when i bought it so i blame the now rougher ride on a 12.5" tire on a 7" rim

SOOO IMHO, Zuk for 4runner AAL for pickup

I am sure you already know this, but for some that might not this is because if your OEM springs are flat they are already sagged probably 1-1.5" already if not more. so a 2" AAL will yield 3-3.5". Most likely settle to 2.5"-3" after all is said and done.

lol yeah yeah I know the actual difference between the 22 and the 15 would be 3.5" but thought it sounded funny.

fyi, assuming he P.O. did not relax my torsions I have a front measurement of 13" from bottom of fender to the lip on a 15" wheel. Stock, no lift. my rear measurement will do you no good since I got a flatbed on mine.

lol, if i lived closer to you we'd def hang out/ offroad together lol

but the difference between 22 and 15 would be 7" higher not 3.5, its still from 2 fixed points, if we had different size rims it would be diff, or if we measured from say the ground to the top of the fender than tire size and air pressure would matter, but top of rim to bottom of fender is a standard measurement

so assuming you're 13" measurement is stock (which it sounds like it is since its what the Zuk mod gains and everyone seems happy with it) then my truck would tech be lifted 2" and backgate's truck is lifted 9"

and 7" is way Way WAY too much for the torsion crank.

but here is what I am thinking, take my 13 add 3" for the body lift you get 16" add the 2 or 3" BJ/torsion crank you get 18-19" which is still 3-4" off from what his is. You sure there is 4WD fenders on yours?
