Ac vsv hissing when on normal?

Ac vsv hissing when on normal?
No hissing when the AC idle up vsv is off, just when the AC is on. Is the normal or is this going to cause a lean condition when the AC is on?
(I double checked and the hoses are not reversed)
I'm worried because my front cylinder spark plugs look like they are lean and wondering if this might be attributing to that.
