aal on my 88

put on an add a leaf to my 88 4runner last night. it was suppose to add 2 inches but it add about 3.5 inches.. also my e brake light keeps coming on this was happing before i added the leaf. what could be causeing this

Did you put it between the right leaves? Sounds like your ebrake cable bracket needs a lift on it so its not getting pulled by the leaf spring pack.

he said it was doing it before the AAL. you probably have low brake fluid. and the spring should settle some over time

yeah, my aal's were a bit tall, but now they ride a little lower. don't worry, they'll settle a good 1" in a little while

the light would come onn randomly as i was driving could that be because of low brake fluid

yea mine has a slow leak in the master cylinder and when it starts getting low it comes on and oes off randomly then stays on till i add fluid. i think thats your issue. easy check, easy fix.

if it's not that, then make sure your E-Brake handle is staying all the way up against the switch
