95 pickup no spark

95 pickup no spark
Hello everyone,
This is my first post in this forum!
My son and I want to restore a '95 pickup but before we do we wanted to confirm the motor at least works.
Thanks to other threads on here we were able to get some help but we are stuck. Initially their was no volts going to the coil or igniter and the check engine light never came on. Now we have current going to the igniter and check engine lights up but low voltage to the coil (1.2v). Are we missing something obvious?
