95 4Runner Sag [Help!]

The back of my runner has gotten pretty saggy and I think it' time to fix it up. I'm on a tight budget, but I don't want to sacrifice price for performance and comfort. Currently I'm considering OME shocks and springs in the back. It's to my understanding that they provide a 1.5-2" lift over the stock suspension and I wasn't sure how it'd work out if I left my front stock.

I have a 95 SR5 v6 4WD 4runner. I rarely go offroading. On the weekends I usually have a bike rack mounted to the tow hitch.

I did a decent amount of searching, which lead to me picking OME for the shocks and springs, but I wasn't able to find out how people felt about having JUST OME shocks and springs in the back with everything else stock. I'm under the impression it gives about a 1.5"-2" lift, but generally speaking how does that look, or does it affect anything else since it won't be level.

I put the Air Lift 1000 in mine, there are a lot of posts about that also.

It completely cured my sag and made it ride way better. I ride around with it at like 12psi and it sits completely level. When I tow my boat I pump it up to 30psi and it doesn't even budge with the weight of the boat on it.

I would think putting the OME springs/shocks in the back only will be fine, your T bars look pretty jacked up in front, so it may sit pretty level with the lift in the back.

I haven't put the bj spacers up front yet, so this is exactly the setup you're talking about. I was just gonna do the Eibach 1" springs from Summit, but they're not available anymore, hence my using OME's. They've settled a lil bit, got a lil over 4,000 miles on 'em and 1,000 or so of that was hauling everything I own.

Thanks JonnyBoy! You're setup looks great. Do you have OME shocks in the front? I wasn't sure whether or not I should replace the front with OME shocks because my front seems fine.

I went exactly the route you've mentioned. I have the OME Nitrochargers and medium rate springs in back and haven't touched the front. My truck sits like Jonny's.

The ride is a bit stiffer, but when you load it with gear or passengers, it's way better than stock. I'm going to get to the front shocks and torsion bars, hopefully this year, but we'll see.

Yeah, I needed shocks pretty bad all around, so I went with OME's in front, too. The only stuff of OME's I don't have are the torsion bars and steering dampener. Also, should've specified, I went with the medium duty springs, not the hd's. Really don't know what you'd need the hd's for, I had everything I own in my car to move down here to Cali from Oregon. Like I seriously had to play tetris with my crap to fit it all in, and the back still didn't squat as far as empty ride height on the original coils.
