95 4runner problem

I drive a 95 4runner, with 124,000 miles on it. Recently, when I try to start it, it goes click click click and eventually starts. (I'm thinking it might be the starter motor). Then a huge white cloud of smoke comes out of the exhaust. When driving, lots of white smoke comes out of the exhaust when i use the gas pedal. I haven't drove it for the last few days and I am thinking it could be a problem with the head gasket.... So I am wondering how much it could cost me to get it fixed, if it is even worth getting fixed and if it is really the head gasket.

thanks

well....the click thing, sounds like a power issue, like a ground wire or something like that.

As for the white smoke, headgasket. I dont know how much it will cost you to get it fixed if you go to a shop.

good luck.

These are about the two most common problems on a 2nd gen 4Runner... with the V6. Search for "starter contacts" and "headgasket".

Welcome to Yotatech.

PS. Post your vehicle info in your signature, or at least include it in your posts so we know the specifics of the vehicle you're talking about when you ask questions.
