Depends on where he is. 125 is about right for 5000 feet elevation(Denver), goes down the higher you are.

Salt Lake City is at about 5000 feet, so the 120 psi number is right on. Since all cylinders are the same, I'd say your compression is just fine. Wot or unplugging the CSI won't affect it by more than a couple of psi, and it's not exactly a precision test anyway.

try this. pull the efi fuse and leave it out for about 2 minutes. replace it and start it up. see if the problem continues. I say this because I think you have fixed the problem when you replaced the afm and fixed the vacuum lines, but the computer just doesn't realize it yet. It is still trying to compensate for the bad parts. By pulling the efi fuse you will "reset" the computer instead of a limp mode. If it doesn't work you are only out 2 minutes.

If he wants to know more about the condition of his rings or valves, he needs to do an FAA style leakdown test. It's a much more sensitive test when done properly.

Will try the efi fus3 and get back to you guys. On a side note, I believe it has washed rings because it had quite a bit of gas in the oil when I just changed it.
