My 1994 4runner 3.0 Auto shifts into 4WD high fine but does not go into 4Low.. Anything I should check?

 

have you tried shiftinh into 4Low in Park and nuetral??

 

I tired in Park nuetral and everyother gear and the shifter wont move down to it? Anything else I can check?

Hi Zack,
Did you unhook the linkage from the transfer case to see if you can move the poistioner on the case ?

 

Try pushing the 4x4 shifter to the side then putting it in 4 lo

 

Thanks that did the trick but now Im questioning my intelligence...

 

LOL, Don't feel bad, After using 4 lo several times since I've had my truck...the other day I couldn't get it to go into 4 lo, I tried and tried for like 20 minutes, I finally remembered to push it over and shift.
