So yesterday I was coming to a stop, and when I drove off again my 4Runner wouldn't go past 30mph. I didn't know what it was because it had never happened before, the noises coming from the exhaust sounding like gurgling or bubbling, if I tried to get it past a certain speed the truck would start to shake pretty badly, not sure exactly what it could be hopefully you guys could give me some help on this, thankyou.

 

Honestly, It could be one of a number of issues.
Fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pressure, bad gas, vacuum line, timing, injector/injectors, TPS, plug wires, clogged fuel line, coil going wonky................
Kinda sounds like a fuel delivery problem.
Any codes stored? What if any services have been performed recently?

 

What I think it could be is a transmission problem, I couldn't get passed 3rd with the engine reving up to 3,000 rpms and that was it, but yeah it could be a number of things
