ok everyone i have an issue that i can solve and i am tired of throwin money at the truck, its a great vehicle to drive and like it alot so im hoping someone has had issues or has some insight to send me in the right direction. ok first off when i got the truck last year 2009 i had the truck hot idleing fine at 800+- 50 like it should, never touched anything, i had to go for the Etest and i cleaned the throttle body out with the cleaner, never hit the TPS cause i know what happens if u do, and when the can was empty, it was idleing at 1200 RPM so when i cranked the idle screw in to lower it, it would never hit 1500 RPM on a cold start like it should. i bought a used throttle body this year, set right not adjusted and it starts up and idles at 1500 cold and when hot hits 1000 only nothing lower. my actual start issue is with the cold start injector, with it unplugged it starts easy, with it plugged in it sorta floods it out and hesitates. but eventually runs right. the start issue came after i put a new fuel damper on the truck cause the factory one started leaking. any ideas, or maybe something that i can check. oh and if i get it to idle right when its hot, the timing is very hard to set even with the test connector in place the mark is jumping all over and not at a constant value, also one its hot and u drive it for a little bit the idle goes up, im guessing a vaccum leak but not 100 % on this
