So just bought a 94 4Runner and the trans started acting up, when i put it in drive it wont move but if i stomp on the gas a few times it will jump in gear and drive and shift fine. Just the intial getting going doesnt like to shift. What might it be trans toast or something simple?

Is the O/D OFF light flashing?

 

No, and i'm guessing the bulb is out cause the light doesn't come on at all.
