ok guys heres my progress so far heres some pics from when i first got it till today lt me now what u think and what cheap mod i could do thanks

heres when i first got it





a couple days after started ripping front apart



reason to take apart



got new fender



new front end parts







sjit load of rust that fell




old a arms



new a arms



all done









now its got a new exhaust new balljoints and new shocks installed












starting body work soon will add more as i go


does anyone know were i can get one of these rims i only got 3

To bad you didn't live near me. I just sold 4 of those with decent tires for 150 bucks.

Truck is looking better. I had no faith when you first posted it.

o damn o well ya i gave up on it for awhile till i saw this guy that had alot of toyota parts one day and i decided to stop at his house and i got the front end and tne fender + those rims and tires for $40 bucks then i decided to keep it and fix it up it looks alittle beter now just need to fix some rust and im throwing a single stage paint job on it should be good for now

yea its all i had and its doen and off those now and im all good but i wont use them again i got some jack stands now

Looks better. You need new bumpers, and maybe you could take off some of that badly rusted stuff, and sandblast em, and coat it with some herculiner, or Rhino line it. Maybe take the bed, and cab off one day to see what the top of the frame looks like, and maybe use that to your advantage, and sand blast the frame, and then under coat, or herculine it to stop the rust. If even 80% of those underbody components(IE, axles, frame, suspension, etc) are salvageable, you should remove the rust on them, and put some sort of protection on them. If you really watch your budget, you may just make your truck's value equal or greater than the amount of money you have spent on it.

yea ima do all that this summer when i paint the body and it will deff be worth more that ive put in it ivew only put $300 into it including getting the truck and it drivable how it is its gunna be sweet when its done then i wanna sell it and get a 4runner because i like to have somw friends with me when i go wheeling and i dont need it to transport anything but ill keep it for awhile

man you did all that removing of ifs just to put more back in? Shoulda SAS'ed it. But good work! I guess save the SAS for the 4runner

i didnt take much of it out otherwise i would have i only took out the top and bottom a arms im thinking about sas in the future but just trying to get it runing good and driviable and clean up all the rust then ill do some offroad mods im taking the bed off soon to clean up some frame and im putting in a 2inch body lift thats it for now i think the runners way to far away to think about now but i might end up sasing it

yea last guy that owned it was the original owner and worked in a boat yard so it spent all its life near the water so it got pretty rusty and then i got it for free so i decided to fix it up
