93 V6 Auto 4runner no electrics

Hi,

Having a bit of electrical trouble with my 93 V6 4runner, went and played in some mud and fairly shallow bog holes yesterday for a bit came home and went for another drive later that night with no issues. Get home stopped the car for about 2 minutes went to start it again and it turned over once and died on me. None of the electrics work, no horn no lights no hazards etc. I know the battery is fine as it reads 12.6 volts, the alternator has a bit of mud splash on it but I don't think its that, I've searched the forums and checked the 2 most visible grounds (from neg battery to the body and ontop of the plenum) I can't seem to find the last ground. I read that it could be the fusible link but I don't have a replacement for it. I was wondering where else I should be looking.

TIA

Well, what DO you have replacements for? (Wouldn't you feel silly if you checked every other part of the electrical system and it turned out to be the fusible link after all?)

Yes, it could be the fusible link, Or one of the "big" (80, 40, 30am) fuses in RB2 http://web.archive.org/web/201204170.../2powersou.pdf Use your meter down stream from the battery (through the fusible link, through the big fuses, onto the smaller fuses) to find out where you have an open circuit.

If it's one of the big fuses, don't try to just pull them out. They are bolted in from below.
