93 trans and 96 trans compatability

93 trans and 96 trans compatability

I have a 96 R150 that has no bell housing.
a buddy has a 93 truck that need a trans. I dont recall wht is in there now.
will the existing bellhousing bolt on to the 96 trans??

if there both v6 then it will work
